Vocab Booklet: Sadlier-Oxford Level D

Unit Break Downs: Each Sadlier-Oxford book unit is broken down into two units (an "A" and "B" unit) with 10 words a piece.


General Schedule: Bi-weekly - Each unit takes two weeks to complete. On the first Friday, the vocabulary homework is due. Homework is worth 10-15 pts and it will be reviewed in class. Then, the following Friday students will be tested on the current unit. Each test is worth 35-40pts.


Test Format:
  1. Matching for synonyms and antonyms;
  2. Complete the sentence;
  3. Writing answers to questions asked using the vocabulary words.
  4. Reading Comprehension
  5. *Grammar exercises - On occasion, a section may be added to test students on a current unit of study.
